Charlottesville Area Classical Guitar Teachers and Performers

•Keith Stevens is one of the founders, current vice-president and a former president of the Society. He is active as a concert guitarist, and is currently a professor at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

•Greg Brown is the treasurer of the Society and also an active concert guitarist, teacher and composer.

•Peter Richardson blends Brazilian, Spanish, classical and jazz guitar styles in a rhythmically exciting exploration of traditional sounds. His technique balances a Flamenco attack and a lyrical approach to melody with the flowing feel of a Samba. He teaches these and other styles.

•Sharon McCord also one of the founders of the Chralottesville Classical Guitar Society and teaches and performs in the Charlottesville area.
